Marina Historic District Delray Beach

The Marina Historic District is a quiet neighborhood located in East Delray. It begins a half block from the famous and eclectic Atlantic Avenue in the City's vibrant "Central Core" downtown district and it is easily one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the area. Not only that, but the pristine beaches are also just a 5-minute bike ride away.

There are four historic marine villas, built between the 1920s and the 1940s. Each of them has been well-maintained, with the original details preserved.

Life in the Marina Historic District

This prominent residential area positioned on the Intracoastal Waterway and built around Delray's City Marina was indeed carefully planned. It was designated a historic district in the Local Register of Historic Places in 1988. Moreover, it boasts a collection of well-maintained structures situated in the heart of this waterfront community.

From dining and shopping in Downtown Delray Beach to checking out the art scene, or sailing and surfing on the beaches, you are in for a treat when visiting or moving to Delray Beach.

Prices generally start at around $600,000 in this area. As a matter of fact, 50 Palm Square, located in the heart of the Marina Historic District, was sold by Barry Frette in February of 2020. Learn even more about the historic homes of Palm Beach County here: Historic Homes
